A little way to play

Place two large toddler blocks on the floor. Stack them, knock them down together, and offer another turn. Use words such as up, down, and again.

Everyday moments

Offer two simple choices, such as which book to read. Keep dangerous objects out of reach even when your toddler seems to understand a rule.
