A little way to play
Give your child a clean cloth and a safe patch of table to wipe beside you. Describe the action and welcome their version of helping.
Everyday moments
Build little pauses into dressing and cleanup so your toddler can participate. Offer help when frustration rises. The goal is connection, not perfect performance.
